Hi andrewmason & welcome to the forum.

It might be worth posting a HJT log. Instructions are given here: http://forum.processlibrary.com/showthread.php?t=17 (please post your log into this thread and not the one given in the link).

Or you can download from here http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/e...ools/hijackthis

To run a HijackThis scan and post the log:

- To find HijackThis go to the location you downloaded it to e.g C:\Program Files\HijackThis.
- Close all windows and browsers.
- Find the HijackThis folder.
- Open it and double click HijackThis.exe.
- Click Do a system scan and save a log file. (If Hijack this shows you a Scan button instead it is OK. )
- The Scan button will change into a Save Log button. Click it.
- Click Ctrl-A (the "Ctrl" key and the "A" key at the same time) to highlight the whole log. Now click Ctrl-C to copy the text.
- Go this forum and click the "New Thread" if this is your first post regarding this problem or go to the thread that you are working in and click "Post Reply" if you already have a thread that you started about the subject.
- Paste the log into the window that opens up by clicking Ctrl-V.
- Click Submit Reply to post.

When you have posted your log, I will move this thread into the HijackThis Logs (HJT) forum. Also can you do the following
  1. Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and save it to a convenient location.
  2. Double click on mbam-setup.exe to install it.
  3. Before clicking the Finish button, make sure that these 2 boxes are checked (ticked):
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
      Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  4. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware will now check for updates. If your firewall prompts, please allow it. If you can't update it, select the Update tab. Under Update Mirror, select one of the websites and click on Check for Updates.
  5. Select the Scanner tab. Click on Perform full scan, then click on Scan.
  6. Leave the default options as it is and click on Start Scan.
  7. When done, you will be prompted. Click OK, then click on Show Results.
  8. Checked (ticked) all items and click on Remove Selected.
  9. After it has removed the items, Notepad will open. Please post this log in your next reply. You can also find the log in the Logs tab. The bottom most log is the latest.

A HJT Advisor should be able to help.

Many Thanks

How many errors does your computer have?

The Problem

Have you noticed that the longer you have your computer, the slower it runs and the more it crashes? Often this phenomenon is caused by problems in the registry that accrue over time. Left unchecked, your system will become increasingly unstable, run more slowly and crash more frequently.

The Solution

RegistryBooster 2 is the easy answer to registry problems. It conducts deep scans of your registry to check for errors and conflicts, then repairs and optimizes the registry to peak performance and stability. Youíll see immediate increases in speed and decreases in system conflicts.

2 minutes can save you months of frustration and crashes.
